About Brundha Balaraman, MD

Brundha Balaraman, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at ALLUSTRA DERMATOLOGY, serving patients at the Heights and Memorial City locations in Houston, Texas. Certified by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Balaraman specializes in both medical and cosmetic dermatology, offering advanced treatments for acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin cancer prevention, as well as aesthetic services including laser therapy, dermal fillers, Botox®, and noninvasive body contouring.

Dr. Balaraman earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Cornell University before completing her medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and a dermatology residency at Washington University. To further refine her expertise, she completed a fellowship in cosmetic dermatologic surgery with advanced training in laser resurfacing, Botox®, dermal filler injections, KYBELLA®, and other cutting-edge aesthetic procedures.

An active member of leading professional organizations, including the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, Dr. Balaraman remains committed to staying at the forefront of dermatologic innovation.
