About Jeremiah Au, MD

Jeremiah Au, MD, is a Mohs surgeon and board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Au brings exceptional surgical training and a patient-centered philosophy to Allustra Dermatology. He graduated with honors from Boston College, where he earned his degree in Biology, was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, and received the highly selective Scholar of the College Award. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh, one of the nation’s leading medical institutions.

Dr. Au completed his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, serving as co-chief resident and acting as the resident liaison to the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. To further refine his skin surgery expertise, he pursued advanced fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology at Indiana University under renowned surgeon Dr. Ally-Khan Somani. Dr. Au is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery.

With numerous published research articles and contributions to surgical and wound-healing textbooks, Dr. Au brings both skill and innovation to his practice. He is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, compassionate, and highly individualized care for each of his skin cancer patients. His clinical focus includes early skin cancer detection, advanced treatment techniques, and reconstructive surgery—ensuring patients receive the highest level of care at every step of their treatment journey.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Au enjoys cooking, photography, sports, and traveling—interests that reflect his creativity, attention to detail, and love for connecting with others.
